In this article, it will feature the likes of Anjelo Disions, Emmanuel Speaks, Francine, Flyboy Kenkz, Nicki Knightz and Rae Poet all talented individuals I'm sure you have no idea about, right? Let me break that barrier! Hey everyone, this is just the beginning of my weekly article called "Potential In You", and it brings together a collective of artists to share with the world. Music is all about unity and togetherness, so the fact you may not know any of these artists is startling.
Let's begin shall we?
As some of you may know already I go by the name of Tevin Vassell aka. Mr Emotionz I'm a Spoken Word Artist, Manager and I do A&R, but already there's a loophole in that description. No matter what you do, it's all about recognition, right? Being seen, wanting to get yourself to the top? But, unfortunately and because of certain circumstances life gets in the way. Hear me out though, "Whatever your highest expectations is, surpass it! Have no limitations. More obstacles always come when we pass the first one."

Anjelo Disions
A 16 Year Old Singer/Songwriter, Anjelo's love for music surpasses many his age allowing his talent to do so as well. Performing in venues such as Proud Camden, The Roundhouse, Surya, The Cargo and many more... Anjelo's performances are always an experience to the crowds that attend backed by the blend of his unique vocals and fantastic live band. His biggest influence is soul music with artists like Marvin Gaye, Will Heard, Labrinth, Jordan Rakei and Amy Winhouse being the most prominent.
Anjelo's Debut EP (The Awakening) was released on the 24th of July and had a launch party the day after managing to pack out the venue and gaining attention from a wide accolade of industry ears.

Emmanuel Speaks
Emmanuel Speaks is an up and coming 19 year old spoken-word poet and story teller, from Leytonstone, East London, part of The True Family (TTF) collective. He's all about his wordplay, and ability to inspire - the two things he prides himself on. He's been performing spoken word for just over a year now and has come a long way, featuring on Channel 4 and BBC Radio. Follow him on his journey as he continues to grow as an artist.

Francine, a young and talented spoken word artist believes things in life are vintage so she's goes by the name: IsCalledVintage. Nicki Knightz
Nicki Knightz, a 19 year old Sagittarius who was born and breed in Hackney is a songwriter, rapper and spoken word artist who is part of a collective called Knighthood Society, which has been about since 2011. (started by Henny Knightz) Still trying to find herself, Nicki found this to be a stepping stone in her career and perfect timing as well being that was the same time she was becoming the songwriter she is today.
It was summer last year where things started to take off for the team in terms of performing and being recognised. She had done roughly around twenty shows this year that which includes open mics and booked performances. One of which being a massive platform in Hackney, a talent competition called: Alter Ego hosted by Kat B (MTV Base) at the Hackney Empire. With industry professionals as judges & headline acts such as Sneakbo, Timbo, Mandem On The Wall and Jermaine Jackson. Which helped develop Her performance abilities but when she's not performing or recording, she's a creative writing student at St Marys University in Twickenham.
Inspirations: Biggie, Tupac, Missy Elliot, Floetry.
The artists that she tended to listen to a lot when she was younger was; N Dubz, Mz Bratt, Amplify Dot, Paigey Cakey, Teezy, Tigger The Author, Ms Dynamite. These are the artists that actually made her realise that there was a scene in the UK. Keep up to date with Nicki Knightz here via;

Rae Poet
Rae likes to be the voice and projection of peoples thoughts and feelings that they're afraid to admit or say aloud. She's been doing poetry for 5 years now. She loves the arts, she loves writing. She loves taking the stairs and opening the door to peoples mind and exploring their world and incorporating it into her and making it her own which explains her muse, creating her craft.
